I cut a 1x4 12 inches long. sanded and painted it white, cut a piece of pattern paper just a little smaller than board. used modge podge in a thin layer on the board and put the paper on it. smoothed really well, then put a thin layer of modge podge on top. I let it dry overnight and cut the names out in vinyl and put on the board. they loved them.
