Cards I made this morning with scraps

A friend of mine at work, Heather, gave me some scrapping stuff. I was excited to make cards with it.

My daughter Kelsie came home from College this weekend. One of her friends needed a card for his mothers birthday. Kelsie said she would make one for him. These are what we came up with for him to pick from.

Banister in my house

I started sanding down our banister 2 weeks ago. Jordan was coughing a lot, so I stopped sanding when she was home. Yesterday I sanded the last of it. took about 3 hours. I cleaned up and put the first coat of stain on it before she came home. I put the 2nd coat on today. Its looking pretty good. I think I need one more coat of stain. and then varnish. I am happy with the way its looking so far.

I lived in Dayton Oregon from the time I was about 5 years old until I started 3rd Grade. we moved 2 weeks after I started 3rd grade. I loved this town. Its my first place I have memories.

I made 8 of these cards today and my daughter says they are too white. so back to the drawing board to figure out what I can add. I was thinking it was cute. hmmmmm

Match game

I went to my cousins house today to play games and have a pot luck lunch. which was very good. I hurried this morning and made a match game for the kids. I love the bugs on my new cartridge.
